Amanda Payne

Amanda is an Associate Director of Strategy based in Clear’s New York office. She is an innovation, brand, experience and marketing strategy Swiss Army knife, with a history of accelerating top and bottom line growth for organizations, from startups to a portfolio of Fortune 500 and nonprofits.

Amanda spent the earlier part of her career with top innovation and trends firms in NYC, beginning at Luminary Labs learning their open innovation approach and then sparks & honeys to explore their future forecasting capabilities. She went on to become a consumer and innovation strategy expert for Fahrenheit 212 and frog Design with a focus on beauty, wellness, and retail innovation strategy. Amanda brings an empathic approach to everything she does and thrives on understanding people and behaviors to pinpoint “next” in innovation – all while marrying bright ideas with commercial rigor. She has most recently served as the Head of Growth & Partnerships for FinTech startup Carefull, the first financial safety service designed to protect older adults from fraud, scams and money mistakes and assist their loved ones in the often overwhelming process of financial caregiving.

Outside of work Amanda teaches a class each semester for the Managing Innovation course in the Commerce School at her alma mater University of Virginia and is working on her own line of adaptive women’s wear. She is an avid athlete, painter, and aspiring sommelier.
